Scott Marshall studied law at the University of Victoria and was called to the bar in 1996. He worked in Hong Kong for several years before moving to California, where he worked as a litigator after passing the state bar exam. In 2006 he settled in Kincardine and took over the firm now known as Marshall & Mahood.

Matthew Feil studied law at the University of Western Ontario and was called to the bar in 2013. He articled with a medium-sized firm before moving to Kincardine in 2014 and joining the law firm of Marshall and Mahood. Matthew Feil is a qualified mediator, having completed his training with Conrad Grebel University College. He has also volunteered with Community Justice Initiatives, a mediation clinic in Kitchener, helping clients with community based mediation and victim-offender reconciliation. Matthew Feil primarily practices in family law but is also able to assist with wills and real estate matters.
